Growing up Persian in Charlotte, NC, I felt a deep pull to connect with my heritage and culture. I knew the best way to do this was through community, so I immersed myself in local Persian gatherings and events. Along the way, I met kindred spirits who shared my passion for our culture and a dream of opening a Persian café. With virtually no Persian restaurants or cafés in the area, I saw opportunity, not just to fill a gap, but to create a gathering place where our community could thrive and others could discover the warmth of Persian hospitality. Cafe Cyrus is the result of that vision: a space where tradition meets community, one pastry at a time.
